Sale conditions

All orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase. We accept Stripe and PayPal payments via our website.

Items added to your cart are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers until checkout is fully completed and payment has been successfully processed.

 

Delays in payment processing may occur, particularly with "PayPal - Pay in 4” transactions. Middle Hill Farm is not responsible for stock availability during these delays. If an item sells out before payment is confirmed, the order will not be fulfilled and any payment taken will be automatically refunded via the original payment method.

Once an order has been placed, it cannot be modified, or amended, including payment method.

Where multiple orders are placed, we may combine shipping at our discretion. Shipping will be charged on each order, with any difference refunded at dispatch. Requests must be noted in the checkout comment box.

Shipping Restrictions and International Orders

We do not ship internationally.

Orders identified as being placed for export (including freight forwarding addresses) may be cancelled and refunded, less an 60% processing fee.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order suspected of breaching Australian export regulations and may report such activity to the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.

Product Availability

Product quantities are updated prior to each sale period. We do not offer pre-orders.

While we make every effort to fulfil all orders, we reserve the right to cancel or partially refund any order if items become unavailable or unsuitable for sale.

Product Condition and Viability

Dahlias are a natural product and will vary in appearance due to growing and storage conditions. Cosmetic imperfections do not affect viability.

All tubers are supplied with a viable growing eye at the time of dispatch.

We actively manage plant health, however we cannot guarantee tubers are completely free from disease or virus.

As growing success depends on conditions outside our control, we do not offer refunds beyond the 5-day post-delivery period.

Planting Stock (Post Planting Sale)

Some tubers are sold as planting stock. These may be trimmed, marked, or visually imperfect.

These tubers are healthy and viable but are sold at a discounted price on an as-is basis and are not eligible for refund or replacement.

Crop Loss and Substitution

In rare cases, a tuber may become unsuitable for sale during storage or packing. If this occurs, a refund will be issued for that item.
 

We do not substitute varieties without customer consent.

Growing Responsibility

Once delivered, responsibility for tuber care, storage, and growing conditions rests with the customer.
 

We are happy to provide advice, but cannot guarantee performance after planting.

Wholesale Inquiries

We welcome wholesale enquiries for cut flowers during our flowering season (February–May), subject to availability.

We do not offer wholesale on tubers.
